How it is done
Research that has to survive contact with a certification authority
Applied research in aerospace is constrained in a way that most research is not: the result has to be defensible to somebody whose job is to refuse it. That shapes the method — evidence gathered as the work proceeds rather than assembled afterwards, and designs chosen partly for how well they can be argued.
It is also why research and delivery are not separate activities at ALTAY. The same discipline that makes a result publishable is the discipline that makes it certifiable.
